Building meaningful partnerships with First Nation communities across Canada to advance Indigenous energy sovereignty

Project Overview

One of the key focus of the project is to engage First Nation communities (at least 10) across Canada to understand their energy requirements, skill sets and their interest towards the concept of IEX SuperGrid through in-person workshops and virtual engagement sessions.

As a first step, a booth was set up at First Nation Power Authority (FNPA) conference in Alberta on June 4-5th and communities were engaged through survey to assess their interest in the project. 6 communities showed their interest in participation as listed below:
